Dear Parents and 2024 Confirmation Candidates and disciples of Jesus:

You are all in our hearts and prayers today and on all days. As we reflect on a special day that your special young person will be sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 2024 we wanted to extend a heartfelt invitation to join the 2023 Confirmation Candidates and their families as they ready their hearts, minds, and souls to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. This is an amazing opportunity and a spiritual event that involves the parents and the children together since the most important aspect of your child’s ‘faith journey” is rooted first and foremost in the FAMILY. 

The “Day of Recollection” for the Confirmation 2024 disciples of Jesus and parents will be on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 8:45 am. The Retreat will begin promptly at 9 am in the school gymnasium and will conclude at the Church by 12:30 pm. 

Colleen Rayner, a well-known youth minister, and dynamic speaker will be with us to give our children an experience designed to enrich their awareness of the Holy Spirit in a personal way.  Colleen has been in the ministry for over 20 years. I worked with Colleen when I was in Staten Island, the Bronx, and Suffern, and I know firsthand how dynamic she is and what a gift this will be for our young people and adults alike.
